Hiking the AT
I first heard of the Appalachian Trail in 2001. I have a distinct memory of holding my daughter who was a year old and thinking, “I’m going to do that some day.” Well it is someday and I have decided to give it a shot. I don’t promise to finish, but I absolutely promise to start and you can’t finish if you don’t start. SO HERE I GO!
My trail name is Honey Bee and my start date is May 3, 2024 (which is later than I originally planned, but that is a whole different story to tell at another time).
